Beautiful Victorian-era Home in Seattle
What a fine example of Victorian architecture, located on Capitol Hill, just across the street from Volunteer Park. Note the beautiful wrap-around front porch and the turret. I bet it's as gorgeous inside as out. I love Seattle real estate! Call me for a complete list of Victorian homes for sale in Seattle.

The Penthouse- ESCALA Seattle
This penthouse is a unique Seattle home for sale at the Escala. The Escala at 5th and Madison is unique in that all of the units, except the three penthouses, are one-bedroom or one-bedroom + den layouts, ranging in size from 808 to 1,244 square feet. The two- and three-bedroom penthouses range from 1,957 to 2,164 square feet in size.
With the exception of the 2nd and penthouse levels (24th floor), each floor accommodates only 6 units, all facing North, West or East. Units on the upper-levels, particularly the “00″ and “01″ stacks on the West side offer spectacular city and Elliott Bay views and have abundant light. Residents will need to be higher than the 12th level to over look the library on the North side.
Amenities include a restaurant on the lower level, resident fitness center, activities/club room, guest suite, dog run and landscaped walking paths with a water channel. Homeowner dues run $.55/sq ft, on par with other higher-end projects and it does include central air and heat, hot water and gas for cooking. 5th and Madison is striving for LEED-Gold certification.
Interior features include upscale finishes, Bosch & Amana appliances (Sub Zero standard for homes on the 20th level and above), Lutron shades, 10.5′ ceiling height and kitchen islands as standard.
The project will appeal to true urbanites who have a penchant for in-city living and love Seattle real estate. Living at 5th and Madison will provide a different experience with fewer residential amenities compared to Belltown or the Market district, so buyers should keep this in mind.

Painted Lady
This is a beautiful architectural detail from a Painted Lady Victorian home. So lovely! This is a very rare style of home in Seattle, but we do have many homes for sale of the Victorian era, they just aren't quite as elaborate. But give me a call, and we can explore what other Victorian homes there are for sale in Seattle.

Exciting furnishings in at Neiman Marcus in Bellevue
Seattle and Bellevue has waited and Neiman Marcus delivers with there new store at the Bravern. Fabulous style, deluxe materials, marvelous decor, the style does not disappoint.
The iconic style has come to the Northwest and all is well with the world.
While some pundits have questioned whether or not the Seattle area can support these luxury stores, there is no
question that residents of the
Pacific Northwest have the quality of taste. But will they open their pocketbooks to make the purchase?
Pacific Northwest have the quality of taste. But will they open their pocketbooks to make the purchase?
Luxury velvets, plush fabrics embrace classic designs. These would look fabulous in anyones home. But will New York glamor translate and move well to this soggy corner of the country?
When I was growing up, ostentatious displays of wealth were frowned upon here, and there was nary a BMW or Mercedes on the road. Now luxury autos, diamond jewelry and trophy mansions are the mode of the day, and no one blinks when someone shows up in designer clothes.
So Neiman Marcus may indeed find an audience in the nueuvo riche suburbs of Bellevue, Medina and Kirkland. And maybe a few Seattleites will even cross the bridge to take a peek! If you've got yourself a wonderful home or are looking to buy Seattle real estate, you definitely want to take a look at this beautiful furniture collection.

Home Trends - Outdoor Living in Seattle
A Seattle homeowner’s experience doesn’t stop at the back door. With leisure time and entertaining moving seamlessly from indoors to out, creating an outdoor “room” remains high on the list of must-haves.
As the passion for outdoor living continues to grow and evolve, many Seattle and Bellevue-area homeowners have upped the ante on their desire for al fresco design and style. This very lifestyle-driven trend, borne from a marriage between the love of all things natural and a natural affinity for creature comforts, has blurred the line between inside and out-in every market and every climate zone-as the craving for creating a “whole home” experience and harmonized outdoor spaces ramps up. Just as for the inside of the home, an outdoor space plan should be driven by the family’s needs and activities-typically cooking, dining and relaxing-and of course, the budget and expected ROI-both financial as well as emotional.
